    Hi Sam. Thank you for your reply. If I had the money I would have a Chrysler Windsor, but that would mean curtailing my film collecting. If you are interested I have just posted some pictures of my cinema in the garage.

    Projector No. 2: Ross GC1 head, RCA 9031 soundhead, Peerless Magnarc lamp (all installed 1947), salvaged from my wife's old neighbourhood cinema and fully restored. Owing to limited space, the projector is too close to the wall for the operating side to be photographed in its entirety.

    Projector No. 1: Western Electric Universal Base Sound Reproducer (1930), Kalee 12 head (c. 1941), Monarc lamp (1939), salvaged from my old neighbourhood cinema and fully restored. The turntable at the back is for playing Vitaphone sound discs, synchronised with the film.
