I too have a '01 GT (bought two weeks ago), so my opinion may be biased. The Stang's are cheaper, and have less cheap plastic crap on the interior. They aren't as fast as the Camaros, but I like the looks better!! I paid $22k for my Premium Package GT. Hope that helps!
