    IB systems...

I've gotta admit... As I was looking into my next ridiculous expenditure of cash. I started thinking about adding a folded horn setup and somehow fitting it into my living room(more for party music, theater is sorted...so far)... But I have heard your back alley talks about the cult of the IB...

    TV for Static Photography display

For the screen blanking I wonder about cutting the HDMI cable Vcc line and adding a relay to switch it on and off. Might work?

    TV for Static Photography display

Hey guys, I'm having a bit of trouble picking a way to do this safely. obviously OLED is out. But looking for a 60 to 65 inch TV for displaying my photographs. From what I've gathered I'm avoiding OLED like the plague, IPS panels might be a bit risky, VA panels look like the most...

Would you mount the speakers into the wall?

I could possibly build a little speaker shelf on both back corners(one behind the couch, and the other just behind the kneewall door)... Yes overhead is no going to work too well virtually no clearance and the vega speakers are a big bigger than expected... Built onto a shelf it shouldn't...

getting pushed off of the AE-8000U for the Sony HW40ES?

I have the projector mounted. Looks like we are sitting about 7 ft from the screen. I am trying to pick my screen out. A guy north of me is selling a planar xscreen for 500 or amazon has the silver ticket screens for 200. I'm leaning towards the white screen. I think we are aiming for 80”...

Would you consider a used planar xscreen?

Have a guy selling an x screen 80 inch near me. I was going to build a DIY painted screen as an alternative. Is it worth going to check this thing out? What price would you pitch the guy? It's an 80"

getting pushed off of the AE-8000U for the Sony HW40ES?

Got my projector here. I will say that initial impressions are a bit off flavored. the packaging Styrofoam was destroyed which is a shame since i keep that stuff for moving the projector in thr future. But second the bulb has 11hrs on it, she had told me all three units they had were under...

Any issues with HDMI 1.3 Reciever on modern equipment?

Ok, so this is the Half baked 2.0 you speak of. How does one know if its a fully compliant 2.0? Look for a 9 channel AVR?

Any issues with HDMI 1.3 Reciever on modern equipment?

I was glancing at the TX-NR636 It does share the namesake of one of my favorite street bikes.... BUT in addition it rocks Atmos (only two height channels though). AND a second subwoofer out for my ButtKicker! I have a splitter in the LFE line currently. Adding the two speakers...

Any issues with HDMI 1.3 Reciever on modern equipment?

If Atmos was designed to really run with 4 top speakers why are alot of the recievers only pushing 5.1.2? shouldn't they aim for 5.1.4 at least?
