And not just that, as others have pointed out, it's an implicit walkback of the Force as something hereditary/scientific (i.e. midichlorians) and more like something within nature that a precious few can have an affinity for.
And yet, despite having moments typical of Glen/Moore silliness, the last 40 ish minutes are some of the best sustained tension and action that the series had seen before, probably Glen's best effort as a director. Bad? Certainly not. Great? Not that either, but I don't squirm with embarrassment...
