    Samsung Omnia 7, any thoughts?

I can get it for £28 upfront then £15 a month for 24 months. It seems really cheap so I'm very very close to going for it. Anyone have any thoughts about the handset itself, and anything I should consider before going for a Windows Phone 7 handset. Is WP7 nice to use, any functionality...

    Euro-pee'in

Hey, I'm a Brit. I wouldn't say pissing in public is common, but it's not unusual to go behind a bush if you're caught short, usually on nights out etc. Urinals like the one in the photo can be found in central london on friday and saturday nights.

Anyone Expecting a Mac Mini Refresh?

Id be tempted to agree with Keith. I think there will be plenty of Apple updates, all coming towards the end of the year

T-Mobile G-Slate - Forgot it even existed but now it has been reviewed

http://www.engadget.com/2011/04/19/t-mobile-g-slate-review/ 8/10 seems generous considering the number of niggles the reviewer picks up on. Id be worried about what change in the price was caused by having all of that 3D functionality.

Nintendo HD console in 2012 ("Wii U")

just think of having to use augmented reality on areas of a full game. For example to open a locked door with a lock picking minigame or to open an item chest. not sure if it could be done but itd be pretty cool, and fit with Nintendos 'fun casual gamer' idea.

4"+ smartphones -- the market has spoken (and it says yes)

If you see a photo of a dismantled iPad it's really interesting to see how thin the battery is, and how it takes up most of the space inside the device. We're getting to the point now where the size of a device is directly linked to the size of its battery as all of the other components are so...

Nintendo HD console in 2012 ("Wii U")

I think they may allow for the 3DS to be used as a controller, possibly alowing for augmented reality from the Wii game to the 3DS controller.

    Take that, iPad!

yikes, thats not the result they were hoping for, not that I pay much attention to what engadget thinks.

4"+ smartphones -- the market has spoken (and it says yes)

Another thing I thought about this issue. If you fit a 4.3inch screen it enables you to make the phone itself thinner than a 3.5inch device and still have the same volume inside the device to fit all of the components in.

RIM introduces it's tablet.. the PlayBook

But for how long will Android struggle on a tablet? Surely given 6 months Android will have been refined beyond the BlackBerry. I mean, BlackBerry are on an absolute collapse, surely? I also concur with this general feeling that RIM haven't got either the home or work market on board with the...

4"+ smartphones -- the market has spoken (and it says yes)

I think also you could argue that whether a screen is 3.5inch or 4.3inch, the consumer doesnt really mind. As long as it is bright, sharp and functional. Manufacturers have gone for larger screens recently, but I dont think you could prove that this follows from a consumer demand.

4"+ smartphones -- the market has spoken (and it says yes)

Well for us data, calls and texts are all bundled together into your one off monthly contract fee, you dont have 2 seperate charges. I guess the size of the US does make a difference, but then again there are 5 times more potential customers too. When I visit europe I get charged a little more...

4"+ smartphones -- the market has spoken (and it says yes)

Say I am considering buying a Samsung Galaxy S in the UK I have two options. I buy it pay as you go for 350 and pay 10 a month for a sim only contract. Total cost for 2 years is 590. Or I get it free on a 2 year contract at about 25 a month. Total cost for 2 years is 600. So swings and...
