While watching The Fountain again, I noticed that Izzy mentioned that Xibalba is the Mayan underworld where dead souls go to be reborn. Perhaps that can lead us to believe that Present Tom's "soul" is essentially dead, and that Future Tom is actually the journey of Present Tom's soul in finding...
For iTunes fans, they've got a video exclusive for those who pre-order the new Tenacious D album (I guess it's more like the soundtrack to Pick of Destiny). You get to see the first half of the video for free, and it cracked me up. I gave in, guess I'm a sucker, oh well. As a rule though, I'm...
Exactly. I remember paying like $15 for Star Wars III, and that was two discs. The only difference now is that your $15 will only get you one disc, and you have to pay a lot more if you want the 2nd disc...sucks.
I wish I could share you guys' enthusiasm. I used to love this show, but it's simply gotten way too cliched and ridiculous. I still don't think Vaughn is really dead, as no one ever really dies on this show. If he wasn't behind everything, it would be Irina. I still wouldn't be surprised to see...
All the Star Wars movies are Dolby Digital EX. It's also listed on the back of the Episode III DVD. That said, I don't think it's flagged correctly, because I have to set it manually.
Love this movie. There's one thing that kinda bugged me though the first time I watched it on DVD. I hardly ever notice "nitpicky" things, but the first guy who gets wasted by the tripod is using a video camera. I thought the EMP destroyed all the electronics in the area?
Those pics are on an X1??? Holy cow! I figured you had a 720p projector at least. At least now I know that my 4805 should be able to pull off a nice image!
Word on the street is that Universal is distributing House for some reason. Anyway, apparently it's going to be released in NON-anamorphic widescreen. WTF? House is a brand new show, what on earth are they thinking?
Dan, you can just point the signal at the wall. It mentions that in the instruction manual I believe. The signal just seems to bounce off the wall and back to the projector, no problem. Enjoy the projector, I love mine!
I remember liking Batman Forever when I caught it in theaters. Of course, that was a long time ago. But I believe I'll pick up Batman Begins, Batman, and Batman Forever. Didn't care much for Returns and hated B&R. At least this way I've got a Batman flick from every director.
