using 2 m60's, vp150, 2 qs8's and the ep350, cranked with a yammi rxv1300, it will alert your neighbors to the fact that you are home. when home alone, they are quite loud and sound great. dan

i have the dd8040 too. i watch dvds on a 32" plasma, and the wife said "this is what a movie should look like". i recently purchased 6 interconnects for the 6 channel dvd-a discs, which sound great. i'm no expert, but satisfied with my purchase. just like cars, there's always one that looks...

you need to go out and listen at hifi shops. take notes of likes and dislikes; soft warm sound or detailed exact sound. i prefer the detailed crisp sounds, likes are subjective. how much $$ to spend etc. dan

i almost traded up my yammi rxv1300 to the new rxv2400, but with it 10 months old, i would have had to spend an additional $500.00. the rxv1300 is powering my epic 60 system beautifully. dan
