matt, sent a pm, don't know why it was not received. i'm in pembroke ma, near plymouth, if you are interested in a road trip. i have: m60, qs8, vp150, ep350 dan
mike, you can visit the axiom board to see if there is anyone close to you where you could go listen. i've an axiom set up, and love it; of course i'm biased. dan
using 2 m60's, vp150, 2 qs8's and the ep350, cranked with a yammi rxv1300, it will alert your neighbors to the fact that you are home. when home alone, they are quite loud and sound great. dan
i have a yammi rxv1300 running 2 m60's, vp150, 2 qs8's and axiom's ep350 sub. because of the furnishings in it's location, it's anything but bright. i would love to move a couch and love seat to get more of a crisper sound. you will notice any loudspeaker's sound will change according to it's...

i have the dd8040 too. i watch dvds on a 32" plasma, and the wife said "this is what a movie should look like". i recently purchased 6 interconnects for the 6 channel dvd-a discs, which sound great. i'm no expert, but satisfied with my purchase. just like cars, there's always one that looks...
you need to go out and listen at hifi shops. take notes of likes and dislikes; soft warm sound or detailed exact sound. i prefer the detailed crisp sounds, likes are subjective. how much $$ to spend etc. dan
check out audioreview.com many speakers have been reviewed. also go to the axiom board to see if anyone lives close to you that will let you listen. dan
i almost traded up my yammi rxv1300 to the new rxv2400, but with it 10 months old, i would have had to spend an additional $500.00. the rxv1300 is powering my epic 60 system beautifully. dan
dalton, hope you don't live in an apartment..i have m60's as fronts, vp100 as center, 2 qs8 surrounds and the ep350 sub. i'm powering it with a yammi rxv1300, and my wife swears i'm deaf because i do crank it up. it surely goes loud. if you would like to come listen, send me a pm and we'll set...
