I wanted to order a (1) DVD from Italy; ibs.it wanted 17 euro for postage. dvd.it wanted 16 euro. my question-I went to both sites before registering to see the price of the item; I then opened and registered an account to buy the item from both shops (to see if VAT was subtracted)...

Yes, SONY/BMG is the music arm of SONY worldwide. But fighting the ruling would drain money and resources from the company itself, which isnt exactly healthy to begin with. If they were forced to break apart-the costs would be staggering-and affect ALL areas of the company, up to the top...
