International The New Indicator SINBAD Trilogy Box set...OUTSTANDING!!

Given that your set came out in 2015, I have to assume it contains the same transfers found on the earlier domestic Blu-rays. JASON is in a different Harryhausen boxed set from Indicator, but sadly it's the same exact disc as the earlier release. The indicator editions of the Sinbad films are...

International The New Indicator SINBAD Trilogy Box set...OUTSTANDING!!

The Indicator release of 7th VOYAGE is light years ahead of the domestic Blu-ray. A significant upgrade.

LG begins rollout out of 2020 OLED TV lineup

Thanks, Robert. That kinda crystallizes it a bit for me. I'm intrigued by the CX's Filmmaker Mode, but my (admittedly less than comprehensive) research suggests that I can get something close to it with the C9... or did I arrive at that conclusion in error?

LG begins rollout out of 2020 OLED TV lineup

I've had my eye on the C9 at Costco for a while, but I've held off in hopes that they'd drop a bit lower than $2,149.00. The cheapest 65" CX I've found is $2,499.00 at a local retailer, but most places are selling it for $2,799.00. It doesn't sound like the CX is *that* much better than the C9...

The War of the Worlds (1953) possible Blu-ray release?

BobO'Link - Do you mean FIRST MEN IN THE MOON? There's a spectacular UK edition (with all the same supplements, plus a bit more), which is region free and will only set you back about twenty bucks (with shipping): https://www.powerhousefilms.co.uk/products/first-men-in-the-moon-bd

The War of the Worlds (1953) possible Blu-ray release?

Guess I'm gonna have 2 editions sitting on the shelf. The Aussie edition has some unique supplements, so I'm fine with it.

Walt Disney Legacy Collection (project brainstorming)

Ambitious. At this point I'd be happy if they'd just release Melody Time and Make Mine Music on Blu-ray (club exclusives are fine), and both Fantasias on UHD. Naturally I'd prefer that they restore and remaster EVERYTHING and release it on UHD, but that ain't gonna happen.

International Via Vision Entertainment Announces Premium Blu-ray Label "IMPRINT"

I just ordered War of the Worlds... $37.51 with shipping. I've certainly spent more on single titles, so I'm not complaining. This is a Holy Grail title for me.

Press Release Scream Factory Press Release: The Curse of the Werewolf (1961) (Blu-ray)

I think it WAS a great set, since at the time we weren't getting much Hammer on Blu-ray. Now that Indicator and Shout Factory are cranking them out (with copious supplements!), that barebones set is now looking a bit long in the tooth.

Press Release Scream Factory Press Release: The Curse of the Werewolf (1961) (Blu-ray)

Shout's been releasing a ton of Universal horror over the last couple of years, so I'm betting the other 7 titles in the Uni "Hammer Horror 8-Film Collection" will get proper single releases before too long.

    3D The Mad Magician (1954) - Hoping for a 3-D Blu-Ray release.

Missing out on the TT edition is one of my greatest regrets in the 25+ years I've been collecting films, but the Indicator announcement has mostly sorted that out. Seriously, Indicator is outpacing Criterion for me these days.
