I found the scene of the finding of the young victim pretty disturbing. This show has always had a strange feel to it, which helps sell the medium concept. The scene in the store attic was shocking and for me was one of the those scenes that is hard to forget.

In a previous scene with the FBI agent, they showed the agent getting up and leaving Dan alone staring at the bill. The assumption a scene or two later with a similar zoom in on the bill makes it probable the intention is to show it is the suspect currency.

Ron, I totally agree with your sentiment. I cannot figure out how this show failed - if it was just poor time placement or marketing okay, but I cannot accept how this show is gone and a series of mindless, formula based shows keeps an audience. I wonder if it would have found a beter home on...

UFB....best set of episodes in an already great company of them. As an aside, the "Rescue Me" promos are really creative. Great music and visuals that would make me want to watch it - the F/X folks are really impressing - network guys need to see how to do it right.

Shane's "face" work was the most realistic make up combined with acting I have seen in a long time. His pain, both physical and emotional, was literally dripping off the screen. If Walton Goggins does not get an emmy nod after this season, Vic and team should pay em a visit.
