They now have two more shows to use the judges save. When used it will then set up a double elimination the following week. I suspect they will use it for anyone left but LiL and based on the last several weeks dialing results, Anoop will test it very soon. They mentioned they would consider...
This show always seems to run out of time and feels sometimes like a forced ending is needed as the clock shows 9:57. Last nights close was a good example - I was starting to think it would have to be a two-parter to wrap it all up and then there is a sudden rush into a less than satisfying...
I found the scene of the finding of the young victim pretty disturbing. This show has always had a strange feel to it, which helps sell the medium concept. The scene in the store attic was shocking and for me was one of the those scenes that is hard to forget.
In a previous scene with the FBI agent, they showed the agent getting up and leaving Dan alone staring at the bill. The assumption a scene or two later with a similar zoom in on the bill makes it probable the intention is to show it is the suspect currency.
I wonder if the success of American idol, et al began the slow death of quality drama on network TV. Studio 60 may have been doomed from the start. The ability to capture a huge viewer base with a single, low cost episode has made it difficult to invest and build an audience who will follow a...
I think you may get this moved to another forum but... Here is some ideas: "Why Does My HDTV Have Poor SD Picture Quality?" http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=18580
Lots of room for more....as it should be. Got be a another decade of stories left. I guess still on for final 13 episodes in early 2008, filming should have been started (according to the article at beginning of this thread). Unlike the end of the Sopranos this Sunday, at least we can still...
Ron, I totally agree with your sentiment. I cannot figure out how this show failed - if it was just poor time placement or marketing okay, but I cannot accept how this show is gone and a series of mindless, formula based shows keeps an audience. I wonder if it would have found a beter home on...
Except that I cannot get the vision of Powers "Jim Jones" Boothe doing a Dick Cheney impression while making out with her inthe Oval Office. She has been forever tainted....;-) Knowing the fact that these epsisodes are the final chapter in a promising show, is a shame. I wonder at what point...
UFB....best set of episodes in an already great company of them. As an aside, the "Rescue Me" promos are really creative. Great music and visuals that would make me want to watch it - the F/X folks are really impressing - network guys need to see how to do it right.
Shane's "face" work was the most realistic make up combined with acting I have seen in a long time. His pain, both physical and emotional, was literally dripping off the screen. If Walton Goggins does not get an emmy nod after this season, Vic and team should pay em a visit.
