FYI, on many product pages it now says:
"Due to increased demand, we temporarily have reduced product selection available for delivery to your region. We are working to improve selection availability as soon as possible." (Emphasis mine)
I've noticed the same thing. I used to get all of my movies and games from Amazon US and most (all?) of them are not shipping to Germany anymore. Considering the circumstances I understand their decision of course. I'm just disappointed that I'm missing out on a few deals that are going on.
Yeah, thanks for the tip. Also, autographed hardcover copies are currently on sale for $24.95 here: http://www.jacobsbrownmediagroup.com/buy-these-are-the-voyages-tos-season-one.html
Tommy R's was the last post, so it showed on the forum front page. That's where I inadvertently saw it. No worries, I'm almost done convincing myself I didn't see it. :) Anyway, thanks for editing your post!
Hi all,
does anyone know if the german BD of "Das Experiment" is region locked?
It says Region B everywhere, of course, but I can't find any information if it's actually locked or not.
Cheers
Damn, I've been waiting so long for A Fish Called Wanda. How long do these titles usually stay Walmart exclusives? I live in Germany so ordering from walmart.com is not an option...
Edit:
And Thank you, btw, without this list I wouldn't have known Baby: Secret of the Lost Legend is...
I live in Germany, and although they replaced my misframed copy of Pirates of the Caribbean back in 2007, this is the response I got today:
I watched the comparison videos on YouTube, and the missing dialogue doesn't bother me that much, so I'm not too upset.
I also would like to know. I think I never returned a disc to Amazon.com. Does anyone have experience with that process? Do they send out a prepaid mailer or do you have to advance the return postage?
I was really looking forward to seeing the extended cut, as I skipped the DVD waiting for the inevitable Blu-Ray release.
Even so, I cancelled my preorder because I don't want to support such practices. Thanks to everybody for pointing out the issue. This is why I come here! :)
