    Front projectiion geometry

Almost every projector is a little different so I would pick the projector first then go from there. I dont think I would consider getting the screen first although it wouldn't handicap you.

DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! What people dont seem to understand is that they are purchasing things from on line retailers that ARE NOT authorized to be selling the products. Some will goo as far as to illegally post that they are indeed an authorized retailer even if they aren't. I work in the...

Can a RPTV be safely tipped up on its side?

People shouldn't give advice unless you know the whole picture. It completely depends on what type of tv it is. Some brands are created using suspended mirrors inside that will break if tipped. You should contact the manufacter of your television and ask them before doing anything.

    Low Cost HDTV's?

You are looking at three huge problems right now. These tvs wont last any longer then your worst headache. If your looking for a HD TV on a budget then look to sony. I still wouldn't even recomend one of those but if your looking to save money then you dont really have many options.

HDTV. What are the most necessary items the TV has to have to be most compatible?

You would get much picture quality if you went one level higher with the Mitz Projection TV. You probably saw that TV at BestBuy you should try looking somewhere like Tweeter where they offer the 65413 and 65613 They are MUCH MUCH better and aren't much more.

How Good can a Front projector be

You had one part right, that was about it costing AT LEAST 6000. But that's only for the projector. FP are awesome but you must spend more to get more when going to a FP. Those ones you see out there for under 5000 are crap and will never give you the quality your looking for.

My New Samsung DLP HLN437W Questions?

Well guys here's the scoop. Calibration on this set is for the most part pointless. Someone mentioned letting it set it and they are correct. The set does look better as time goes on. The pixelization you described as you were watching Nemo is just an unfortunate trait of the TV. The technology...

    EDTV vs. HDTV plasmas

WOW! Now I see why my customers are so confused when they come to me. There are numerouse misconceptions out there regarding ED v. HD. The truth of the matter is, they both exist for two differnt applications. Plasma technology itself only exists to satisfy the need for a television that can be...

    Sony RrProjection Probs. Pls Hlp

Sony's do not offer manual convergence. You need to have your television serviced by a technition. It sounds like you didn't purchase the extended warranty. Where did you buy it from? The flash focus isn't going to do anything for you. It is designed to work as a temporary fix not to fix...

Questions about upgrading DirecTV equipment for locals

Actually, when your already a customer you get less of a deal then if you were just starting out new. If you're married or have someone else that the DTV account could be under I would suggest you cancel your account and start over again so you can get whatever they are offering at this time. I...
