From my current online research, WinDVD has the highest quality playback, with PowerDVD coming in second. I also use WinDVD 2.4, but I didn't relize there was a setting for 16 and 32bit. Where is it?

Yep, the Hollywood card's goal in life is just to play DVDs.
The hardware decoder has the advantage of the audio and s-video outputs, plus it will run on a less powerful CPU (300MHz+). I've heard the Hollywood card is quite good, but the best software players have better image quality (when configured correctly).

WinDVD v2.3 is available in 2 Channel and Multi Channel. Does anyone know which files and/or registry keys are different between the two? I guess I am asking for a hack or at least determining if a hack is possible.
