Their are threads out there on other sites about the WRT54G having issues transferring large files (dropping the connection and needing to be re-set). Apparantly Linksys is aware of the issue and is trying to resolve it. There are a LOT of unhappy Linksys customers out there because of it, so if...
Harmony remotes are amazing! I highly recommend you get a Harmony remote! VERY easy to set up. Can control pretty much anything from the online database of remote codes they have stored at their site, etc... and it's function based way of doing things is perfect for non-technical people (ie...
I'll give it a shot... if the receiver has a fan inside it, perhaps the fan is dying or is congested with dust, etc... that could cause some noise and it may eventually get spinning just fine after a few minutes. It's a longshot guess, but you seem desperate for ideas... my computer makes nasty...
You can find the 1014 on the website in either the Canada or US Pioneer website. I remember when I was researching it that it was only on one of the sites... very strange... but an issue that has been documented here for a long time.
I'll weigh in with my 2 cents on this movie (and my experience in viewing it...... which mirrors what others have said here)
First - I was told it was GREAT by my sister and her husband, and hence bought it during a Boxing Day sale - on impulse.
Second - I finally got around to watching...
Just a heads up... Best Buy in Canada will have the Pioneer 1014 on sale for $200 off (that should result in a $499 price) on Sunday, Feb 20th from 5:00PM-9:00PM in store (or 5:00PM to 9:00AM I think online). It's a customer appreciation sale of some sort. I bought mine last week (and I'm...
A couple quick (advanced?) questions for all of the resident gurus! First - Can you save speakers level configurations on the Pioneer 1014 and quickly change between them?? For example, one would be the result given by MCACC, one might be a special manual configuration that you find ideal for...
Thanks for the advice!! :) If I remove the jumpers and just use the amp... which inputs should I use on NAD.... the Lab In, or Normal In?? I don't have a manual for the NAD 7600 and I'm not sure what the difference is... Thanks!
I can confirm that... from 5:00-9:00 in store on Feb 20th they are doing $200 off of the Pioneer 1014. It's a customer appreciation thing so I got an email about the sale since I signed up for their newsletter I guess? You can also buy it online from 5:00PM to 9:00AM the next morning I think...
Hi Scott, The first time I ran MCACC it actually didn't detect my front speakers (I had the NAD volume exactly half way). They didn't make enough sound for the mic. to pick them up. I increased the volume to about 3/4 and it set the front speakers at +10db (the most it compensates I believe)...
Well, it isn't my intention to use 2 receivers. The NAD 7600 has jumpers that can be removed to seperate the pre-amp from the power-amp. That allows it to just be used as a power amp (it contains the NAD 2600 power amp). I'm guessing what I'm experiencing is "normal", as even a seperate power...
I have observed that the volume seems to be low when I use the pre-amp outputs to another receiver for my front speakers. The setup is: Pioneer 1014 receiver for center, and surround speakers, with the subwoofer, left and right fronts through the pre-amp outs. The fronts go to a NAD 7600 PE...
Ok... probably a silly question... but I'm wondering what these inputs/outputs are for and how they should be jumpered on a NAD 7600 receiver. Essentially the receiver has a tuner, pre-amp, and power amp integrated in it. To operate normally, you leave jumpers in to bridge the pre-amp and...
