I second Seth's observation. Although I've only calibrated 1 Fujitsu plasma, and it was a model from perhaps 2 -3 years ago, I can say the new Pioneer Kuro Elites impress me more, though some samples have lower light output than others. The Panasonics are also very nice.

While both sets are good performers, my preference would be for the Panasonic. Neither set will produce anything near their rated contrast ratios in the real world.
