The original series set will be awesome with the original effects in HD and the mono tracks.

The only non-Trek music in that trailer is the music used in the beginning. It's "Neptune" from The Planets, by Gustav Holst.

The previous DVD was about 10db over reference level if I'm not mistaken.

Is the sound still too loud, like the DVD?

Too bad they still can't find the deleted footage that Frankenheimer talks about on the commentary.

These are the same deleted scenes ported over from the current DVD. Scenes from the longer version of the film (Spock crying, ordering the self-destruct) are not included here, as both scenes were included in The Director's Edition.
