Thanks Roy. My HD has nothing bigger than 14/2, I double checked. I am happy with it though and will be using it. Was the 12/2 at your HD twisted? How much was it per foot?

Thanks Tim. I think I am leaning towards the two rears being 4' behind the viewing area and pointing at a slight angle towards the couch. IF this sounds completely off, please let me know otherwise.

I am curious if the wire that Home Depot sells which is 14/2 CL2 is good for HT use with the longest run being 40'? It is the kind with the gray sheath. Home Depot is the only place that sells 14/2 in my town and I need the wire by tomorrow. Thanks!

Can 6.1 or 7.1 speakers be in-ceiling or is the back wall a better way to do it? My future HT back wall is about 11' from the viewing area. Also, my 5.1 pre-wire is going to have both speakers about 5' from the floor and the left rear is going to be slightly off axis due to a window. Is that ok?
