I really love both. I have Local Hero on DVD but have never seen Comfort and Joy on either. Saw a VHS copy on ebay for $100 a while back.

Mr Harris I agree totally! I also saw it at the Plitt Century Plaza on a trip to L.A. It is my number 5 favorite film of all time. I love everything about it, but I really loved the score by Bill Conti. I also remember it was the first time I paid more for parking than the movie.

I am going tonight to see a 70mm print of 2001 at the Cinerama in Seattle. It will be the 12th time I have seen it in 70mm. I feel very fortunate right now! My favorite movie in my favorite theatre. I can hardly wait. Brian
