I use the Ah! Tube CD player. It can be found on the Upscale Audio website: It Ah!Tube CD Player It has a very warm sound to it. You can tweak it by replaceing the tubes with different ones and change the sound.
I was looking at the Mits DLP and there is no way what I have would come close to working. If it was me, I would most likely use a piece of 1/2" MDF cut to a trapazoid shaped like the top view of the TV only a bit wider in the back. The front would be the same width of the TV. Round the edges...

I think it depneds on how much are you going to spend. If your budget is $1000, then Anthem is out. Even if you budget is $2000, then Anthem is out. Sure you can get a used AVM20 for $1800 now, but you still need amps. Now if you get to the $3000 range, I think the AVM with a nice 7 channel amp...
