I second the polk audio lsi7's or lsi9's. I really recommend the 9's, they just sound terrific, and look great too. For a bookshelf, they put out a good amount of bass for a small place like yours. For not much more money, you could get the 9's as fronts, and the 7's as rears. Just my 2 cents.

Having demo'd both the b&w 303's and the polk audio lsi9's, I can safely say that the polk is superior. Granted, the higher end b&w stuff outperforms the polks, but at this level, the polk's 2 1/2 driver array, ring tweeter, and fit and finish are much better than the entry level b&w. I was...

Fredrick, if you liked the Polks, do yourself a favor and try and audition the Polk lsi7's or lsi9's. The sound and build quality of these speakers is amazing. Check out acousticsounddesign.com for prices. IMHO I think they are much better than the B&W's and would still come close to fitting in...
