Love this movie! I have a 1:6 action figure of Jack Burton that I had Kurt Russell sign when I met him back in 2007. He had never seen one before and the girls from "Death Proof" were there and were teasing him because the pecs on the action figure were now not quite so prominent on the real Kurt.
One of my all time favorite films. I can't understand why this on isn't on Blu-ray. Love Joe Bologna's tough Sid Caesar-like character.

I think Cruise is just fine as Reacher, but when you've read all the books, as I have, it's best just to think of him as Reacher's little brother. The only reason I say this is that Reacher's size is a large part of his characterization in the books. But, like I said, Cruise delivers the...
I totally agree with you Robert. The 3D effects were absolutely stunning and I would have loved this picture if it had not been for Mr. Franco. I think I'll still pick it up, just to watch it on my 3D TV and show my boys, but it could have been so much better with one casting change.
Apparently, you haven't read any James Ellroy.
I am a fan of the books (and Ellroy, too), and while I was prepared to hate Cruise in the role of Reacher due only to the fact that he is about a foot shorter (and also for his offscreen peccadillos), I have to admit that he did a great job. One...
Regarding the tagline "Questions will be answered", where are the questions actually answered? I have the 3D set, but haven't dug into it yet except to quickly check out the 3D, which does look stunning. But, are the "questions" answered in the commentaries or supplements? I am assuming the...
No, it was like the whites of the eyes were glowing, especially in darker scenes, not the blue color like Hawkeye's eyes when he was being mind-controlled.
I just watched Titanic 3D and saw nothing like this. I'll have to check my settings. The 3D "Automatic" setting was off on my TV for some...
I watched this in 3D over the weekend, and thought it looked fantastic, except at times it seemed like people's eyes were glowing, and their teeth to a much lesser extent. I've watched plenty of 3D movies on my 73" Mits, and this is the first one I've seen do that. I haven't checked out the 2D...
After getting some advice on other forums and having a couple people with the same new model check their hours (about 8 hours after some viewing for both), I called Amazon yesterday and they are exchanging it for a new one. Fortunately, I can watch this one until the new one arrives and then...
Just took delivery of a new Mits WD-73742 on Friday, 7/20. When I was setting it up, I noticed in the service menu that it had 493 hours on it already. I thought it may be a software glitch, but now I'm not so sure. Called Mitsubishi twice, and they said they can't trace a TV by the serial...
I don't like the idea of having to don a suit everytime I get the urge to watch HTWWW, so I think I'll go with the SD version. Then again, I don't have Blu-Ray player anyway (still have my old 65" Mits without HDMI), so I don't have a choice.
