It was nice to see TCM broadcast recently How the West Was Won in the curved smilebox format.

Happy folks have listed The Leopard and want to add 8 1/2, Amarcord and Playtime.

I hope there is a disc release so i can get rid of my only bootleg in my collection.

She did a great job on Hearts of Darkness and her book Notes was a good read. Rest in Peace.

He made many great characters on SCTV like Guy Cabellero, Count Floyd, Floyd Robertson, Sammy Maudlin and in classic The Grapes of Mud as Henry Fonda. And i liked his performances in 1941 and Stripes. Rest in Peace.

I like David Byrne's double feature of A Matter of Life and Death & Wings of Desire...both excellent films.

I remember years ago a tv station was showing West Side Story and when it came to the scene where you saw the movie’s title it was “Vest Side Story” because the image was zoomed in? I thought that was very funny.

I did see some of the episodes back in the 80’s too but for me it was ok and nice seeing Don Adams back on tv again.

Thanks for the video and the Mad Wednesday print looks much better and love that ending of the horse singing.

Lets not forget it was a laserdisc staple since the late 1940's. :)

Great review and a excellent film and already have the Kino disc and it’s a nice improvement over the Imprint release with brighter colors and better detail.

It took a couple of viewings to like Alphaville when it was shown on tv and will buy the Kino disc when it comes out.

I liked Mad Wednesday and did enjoy Harold Lloyd’s funny performance and hope Kino might get the rights to release it on disc. My only copy of the film I have is a disc recording from a TCM broadcast and the print shown was in bad condition.

Le Samourai is one of my favorites from Jean-Pierre Melville and wished he made more films but died at an early age of 55 in 1973. Will watch the TCM broadcast this weekend.
