So in order to see the "Film Break" should lower my screen a foot or so below the bottom of the film? Or, does the aspect ratio change before a film break?
When I watch a movie, I like it dark around the edges of the projection's aspect ratio, like in a theater. So if the projection is say more toward the middle of the screen, you'll see the white above and/or below the actual image.
I just pull the screen, fire up the flick till I determine the aspect ratio of that particular film, then adjust the screen accordingly. Most of my viewing is classic so the AR varies all the time.

I wonder if the studio approached DVS, provided some cash, and got additional marketing. Studios in the past have drawn the gauntlet on even fan made tribute trailers. Curious how this came about.
