    It's just like this. Tommy Boy never adjusts his screen to fit the particular aspect ratio.

    It's not white bar letterboxing. But yeah, that's what I miss by running a tight screen.

    When I watch a movie, I like it dark around the edges of the projection's aspect ratio, like in a theater. So if the projection is say more toward the middle of the screen, you'll see the white above and/or below the actual image.

    I just pull the screen, fire up the flick till I determine the aspect ratio of that particular film, then adjust the screen accordingly. Most of my viewing is classic so the AR varies all the time.
