I can't compare with Yamaha 2400 but I can tell you that my 3805 sounds much better than my previous 3802 and 3803.

I went from 2800 to 3802 to 3803 (which I just sold) and probably will buy 3805. I just like to change gear often!

Neil: Nice room! I also have a 3803 and I recently bought Paradigm speakers to go with it. I got Studio 20v3 and CC470v3. They sound great with the Denon. I am still not sure what I want to get for surround speakers. dipole or direct or inwall? But will go with Paradigm regardless.

Just placed my order for 20v3 cc470v3 and J29 stands for the 20s. I can't wait. I paid $1400 for everything. I will be using aDenon 3803 for now but will probably buy NAD 763 in the next few months. Anyone listened to Paradigm ref inWalls?

Ryan: I am probably going to buy studio 20 v3 and cc470 v3. My local Paradigm dealer quoted me $700 for 20v3 and $500 for cc470v3.

I just got UPS/6th Ave email saying that 3803 shipped on 11/24 and should arrived in OR on Dec 3rd.

6ave.com now says that the 3802 and 3803 are "in Stock" with a "ships 1-3 business days". When I ordered my 3803 last Monday it said "on Order" 21 business days
