Chances are this is put on sale at some point before Christmas on Amazon Prime. If the reviews advise of an improvement in image i’d pick it up for $75.
I totally agree with your comments, the film to me is convoluted not sure if it was the director or editor or both. I think this is the first modern example of filmmakers not knowing how to tell a story.

I discovered The Cheaters 4 years ago and love it. I wish someone would released a good transfer. I bought a copy via Ebay last year that must have been recorded off TCM. It’s decent. More people need to see this movie.
I might also suggest a couple of obscure BBC tv shows, Beautiful People with Olivia Coleman playing the boozy mother to a gay son in 90’s UK, great soundtrack, hilariously funny. Was out on bluray for a while. Also Gimme Gimme Gimme is a kind of Will and Grave on acid, again hilariously funny...
