Training Day..for the same reasons mentioned above and the fact a cop in the inner city would be allowed to simply walk away from a group of thugs. No friggin way. Good movie up until the last 15 minutes.
The last 15 mins were a total nose dive.
I liked AvP...but didn't love it. I'm just not sure how much you can do with a movie of this ilk...the director certainly is a hack and has a bad track record, but seriously...have their been any better ideas out there for an AVP film??? Sure, the pacing could have been much better and the film...
I love Kevin SMith, but he needs to forget the "Jersey Trilogy" thing. I thought he was done with that? I want to see him do some different stuff instead of pandering to his cult following. He's a great writer!!
If anything, he is overrated now. ;) Most of us probably didnt even know who he was until LOTR. Keep in mind, one great movie role doesn't an actor make. Keanu Reeves in the Matrix anyone?
I attended this at Matrix Night Club in Pittsburgh and it was alot of fun. The only benefit to the VIP pass was getting to mingle with the playmates an hour before the show officially started. The playmates I saw in attendance were Lani Todd, Miriam Gonzalez, Cara Wakelin, Michelle Rogers...
People complain about Star Wars having bad dialog...shit, Spider Man blows SW away in that department!! Made SW diaolg sound like Shakespeare...Cheesy dialog, bad effects, a laughable plot all added up to one of the most overblown movies in a long time for me...i'm still in shock Spider Man took...
All of the scenes were on the dvd...I taped the two parts that ran on television hoping that the footage was something different than was contained on the dvd.
