i'm not familiar with that tv, but since it is ED, wouldn't it be better to feed it a 480p signal instead of the upconverted 720p?

did anyone watching it in HD notice it go blurry for a second a few times? i can't tell if it's the tv or the network. we're getting comcast digital cable, chicago area, tv is a toshiba 42h83. it was kind of annoying. show was not bad though. very dark. probably would say that the original...

wow, i thought 1500 was a crappy price, until i reread your first post and saw 2 PAIRS of studio 40s. 1500 would be quite a steal in my opinion. how much would you let one pair of 40s go for?

when i did it, i just punched two holes in it using an exacto knife i believe. don't cut out too much though, the cloth can be used to fit it snugly.

Chris, Thanks very much. that fixed it. actually, i had played around with that option, but thought it did nothing. but i just turned off the player, then turned it back on, and then the Dolby Digital track was available. I should have thought of doing that, but i guess i didn't. thanks again!

i'm not sure i understand what you mean. this is a dvd audio/video player, i so assumed it would be able to access the dolby digital track off a dvd audio disc?:confused:
