International UNIVERSAL MONSTER SERIES - Invisible Man (Complete Collection) on BD in Germany

You are right. I think that is the reason why they licensed out the titles to Turbine Media - it is really a rather small company in Germany - but all of the DVDs and BDs that Turbine has released so far are very well-done quality releases. So here is hoping.

The Twilight Time News and Info Thread

I would love to have "Last Valley" on BD. I once watched it in Karlsruhe, Germany, during their Cinerama Widescreen Festival. The print was terrible faded... but what an even! And yes, the DVD is indeed a disaster!

Great Fox Western Classics out on Blu: "The Ox-Bow-Incident" and "Yellow Sky"

OK guys, I really hate doing reviews of picture quality, as I am no expert when it comes to reviewing discs, and I do not have the older DVDs as a reference. For what it's worth... I am watching on a 50' Panasonic Plasma (THX-Certified). I believe that Koch Media - as it is the case with other...

*** Official Warner Archive DVD Review Thread

I sincerely hope that they release the next batch of titles with progressively enhanced transfers. It does make a difference and - as Warner really wants to give us the best quality available when it comes to this Archive Collection -I hope they might at least consider it.

@ John Hodson John, I take it "Captain Nemo" is anamorphic widescreen? Could you please verify?

    Warner Archive Discussion Thread (FEEDBACK)

I was wondering..... some titles in the Archive Collection show the following specs: 16X9 Full Frame. Could that mean that the titles are not anamorphic?

Oh.... ... and the thread by RAH about the recall of both "The Longest Day" and "Patton" is missing, too! AW

    That's Entertaiment on HD

Matt, you are right. Here's an excerpt from a transcript of an interview with George Feltenstein conducted by Robert A. Harris: (www.thedigitalbits.com) GF: ... We worked very hard to reconstruct the entire film without having to depend exclusively on the CRI, but had to use it as a basis...
