Audeze partners with Capcom for ‘ultimate’ gaming sound experience

California-based headphone manufacturers Audeze have announced a partnership with Capcom and the Resident Evil Village survival-horror experience. The limited time promo involves gamers being able to receive a downloadable Steam key for a Resident Evil Village + Mobius Bundle when purchasing the Audeze Mobius gaming headphones from audeze.com. The $399 bundle offer is currently only available in the US and Canada.

“The Resident Evil series is the gold-standard of the survival-horror genre, known for its amazing visual quality, thrilling action, and immersive environments,” states Sankar Thiagasamudram, CEO of Audeze. “Pairing the acclaimed spatial sound effects of Resident Evil Village with the immersive 3D audio technology from the Mobius headphone delivers a truly amazing immersive experience.”

Audeze Mobius is an award-winning set of headphones using patented planar magnetic drivers with Waves Nx 3D audio technology. According to the manufacturer, the Mobius is lauded as the “best” premium gaming headphone on the market, and the 3D audio tech promises to radically enhance spatial sound effects. With 110m global sales, the Resident Evil franchise is up to its eighth major installment with Village, and the new story tracks Ethan Winters to a remote snow-capped village with a cast of “terryifying enemies”. A “visceral” experience of survival horror gameplay is augmented by Capcom’s latest RE Engine.

The bundle is available now for the first 500 customers in North America for $399 at audeze.com and only while supplies last.
