Atlantic Technology ships new Quad-Driver headphones

Atlantic Technology is now shipping its third new headphone product of 2020, part of a 30-plus product expansion revealed late last year. The new FS-HR280 headphones promise to deliver “sound quality and ergonomic design that rival more expensive products.” Targeted at music lovers seeking a major headphone upgrade, the product includes a patented Quad-Driver system housed in a lightweight noise-isolating and closed-back, over-ear design.

“Atlantic Technology’s new headphones deliver an outstanding listening experience and value well beyond their $299 MSRP”, said Paul Fredrickson, Director of Business Development at Muto Communications, Atlantic Technology’s marketing and global PR agency of record. “From their audiophile quad-driver driver array, to the comfortable, lightweight and rugged design in stylish space blue with black and rose gold trim, these headphones create a personal sanctuary where you’ll hear what you’ve been missing from your favorite music all these years whether from a streaming service, Hi-Res Audio music files or vinyl.”

The Quad-Driver system consists of two 40mm thin-film dynamic bass drivers with “super efficient” rare earth Neodymium magnets and two patented ceramic tweeters for improved high-frequency detail, mid-range clarity and solid bass. An over-ear closed back design enables noise-free isolation so listeners needn’t disturb others nearby. The full-frequency FS-HR280 headphones also include 105dB sensitivity and 32 ohm impedance negating the need for high volume output to enjoy musical details.

Ear comfort is maximized via a light weight design, soft leather padded headband and pivoting ear-cups, with the latter allowing flat storage. The FS-HR280 includes a detachable 4-foot tangle-free shielded cable made from oxygen-free copper and a nylon braided jacket with knurled no-slip aluminum plug housings with strain reliefs. 3.5 mm 24K gold plated plugs with step-down rings create a static-free connection between the phones and audio sources. Hands-free calling is possible on iOS and Android devices with an in-line microphone, as are regular program controls i.e. play/pause, skip, volume etc. Atlantic Technology provides accessories including a hard carrying case.
