Subscription Tutorial
Subscriptions are the way to personalize your experience on Home Theater Forum so you can be kept abreast of only the changes that you care about. You can subscribe to forum threads, users whose content you enjoy reading, individual movies or types of HT equipment, etc. This way, each time you visit your home page you can see what has changed that you care about, without having to sift through stuff you don't. Change Your Preference For Default Subscriptions To Content You Edit
On every forum post reply, review, and wiki article you write, there is a check box to allow you to subscribe to that particular item of content. You can either choose to have that check box checked (i.e. to add that content to your subscriptions) or unchecked (i.e. not to add that content to your subscriptions).
- Navigate to your Profile page. Click the "Edit Account Details" button.
- In your Account, you can change your preference for the default for this subscription option.
- If you would like to always have the subscription option enabled to auto-subscribe you to content, check the box that says, "Subscribe to Content I Edit by Default." If you wish to have that box unchecked by default, uncheck this box.
