The Disclaimer

Standard disclaimer: All prices are taken from the websites of each chain, or from their printed Sunday advertisements. All prices are subject to change by each chain. Prices and inventory in-store may or may not match the website price.

I, obviously, cannot include EVERY title released in a given week in the RoundUp. The titles included are those that I am interested in…as well as those which I consider will be of interest to a majority of consumers (and sometimes I’ll miss one!). I don’t get paid for this, and I don’t have the time to list every DVD. So, please don’t complain! If there is a title not included in the RoundUp that you want to see, PLEASE just look it up yourself, and be nice enough to post and share the results with everyone!

I'll be picking up Star Wars: Rebels S2 this week. The Jungle Book is well worth checking out and Disco Godfather (or any Rudy Ray Moore movie for that matter) has to be seen to be believed.

Thanks for the prices, Mike! :)

Hey RoundUppers!

Just the Blu of The Jungle Book for me. Didn't go see it in theaters as I'm not much for Disney's recent movement to make live-action films of so many of their animated classics. But....I've heard so many good things about this production, I'm going to give it a go.

Safe shopping!

And thanks in advance for any likes of the OP! Youse guys is the best! :D

Thanks once again for the RoundUp ... :)

Jungle Book, Destiny, Arrow S4 & Chimes at Midnight on bluray eventually ...
and maybe Peter Pan DVD when/if the price comes down ... NBC used to re-broadcast it once a year (as CBS did with the Leslie Ann Warren R&H Cinderella)

You are the best, Mike! Thank you so much for doing the RoundUp!!

Two for me this week:
  • Barbarosa (1982)
  • Destiny (1921)
Destiny is a blind buy for me, but Fritz Lang has always been worth it in the past.

The live action Jungle Book and Me Before You will merit rentals, and "Arrow: The Complete Fourth Season" is a definite purchase when the price drops, but nothing for me this week.

Thanks as always, Mike!

Thanks for another wonderful RoundUp, Mike!

You beat me by about three hours before I could get the review for Star Wars Rebels up. The review can be found here. The TV box sets are piling up here, but I'll eventually get to them all even if they're after street date.

Really recommend The Jungle Book. It's beautifully and seamlessly done. Simply amazing what worlds can be created in the computer while actors tramp around on small patches of set in a studio.

Thanks, Mike! I am getting The Jungle Book on Tuesday for sure and The Night Manager very soon, although I wish both were cheaper, but will probably do them anyway since they're both fantastic I also must caution everybody against Me Before You, which is both a terrible movie and highly offensive on a personal level. I reviewed it for DVDizzy.com in advance of its theatrical release addressing these issues:http://www.dvdizzy.com/mebeforeyou-film.html.

Only one new item for me this week: Rudy Ray Moore's Disco Godfather.

And with that, Vinegar Syndrome has now put out all 4 of Moore's main 70s films on Blu-ray this year (Dolemite, The Human Tornado, Petey Wheatstraw, and now Disco Godfather). [There's still The Monkey Hu$tle, but to me that's always seemed separate from the other 4 films, as Moore was only one of the stars in that one.]

Thanks for the RoundUp, Mike!

And the link to SW: Rebels-Season 2 has been added to the article grid. Thanks, Matt!

Definitely picking up Alan Parker's The Commitments. A favorite since I first saw it so many years ago. A great, heartfelt film that features some wonderful music performances. Really looking forward to seeing this again.

I did not see Jungle Book theatrically, so I'm a little uncertain about it; but the visual elements of the film make it a strong candidate for a blind buy.

Thanks, as always, for the Roundup Mike!

"Jungle Book" and "Star Wars Rebels Season 2" for me this week. If you can't wait to see Darth Vader return in "Rogue One", then you need to pounce on "Rebels". He's here and he’s voiced by James Earl Jones!

"Jungle Book" is available in 3D at Amazon.co.uk and is rumored to be released domestically in 3D at some future date. I've decided to purchase the domestic 2D version for now since, reportedly, the 3D on the imported release is not all that great.

Like others here, I'll be picking up Arrow Season 4 when the price drops a little. Arrow was incredible in its first two seasons, but has stumbled a bit in the last two. Here’s hoping Season 5 will be a complete return to form.

I could be wrong, but Amazon's website shows there's a 3D version available that also includes the 2D Blu-Ray.
I see one under the variations, but it is the UK itme. US is supposed to get their 3D release "later in the year" just like SWTFA did. I think most people are thinking mid December for a Christmas release though a BF release wouldn't be out of line
