Does anyone know who owns the rights to ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD ? I want to replace my broken Laser Disc version with a DVD.

This one may be a little complicated. It was one of the last films the defunct Cinecom company released, so it may reside with MGM, who inherited their library. However, the movie was licensed out to Disney (Buena Vista) for its original tape release, and that deal could have been done by Cinecom or one of the other backers of the movie, and there's no word if the rights have expired. Try Disney first, then MGM.
