I was looking at ebay and saw "Fluance" brand speakers. I have never heard of them. I checked their web page http://www.fluance.com/ and the reviews are great, but then again, who prints negative reviews on their product page.

Interestingly enough, some of the reviews on the Fluance site are from HTF members. Do a search here and you'll find some happy owners. Basically they aren't the worlds best but are a good value.

A buddy of mine needed something inexpensive for his room and picked up a five speaker set off of ebay for $189. Of course, he won't be one to experiment with a Seas magnesium driver vs. a Focal Audiom vs. what have you or try to find out what tweeters sound best off axis, but he loves how they sound especially because they do 90% of what most speakers out there do at 20% the cost.
