Ok, here's the deal, my sub is in the front left corner of my room. I'm thinking of getting a wall unit. I've looked at one that has a bottom shelf (approx 1" above ground level) that may just be the size to fit my PDR-10. Oh yes, I will castrate the shelf doors! So the question is, will this affect the sound quality of the sub? Has anyone ever faced a similar situation? Thanks, Kachi.

Uhmm yes, i did this to my Earthquake supernova 10, even with the door open the sound seemed to be encased inside the unit and some went up the back wall...when i took the sub out and place it in front of the tv , the thing just came alive and has giving my cpr a couple of times.....
