Hello all.

Does anybody know of a printable version of a "how to use" the radio shack spl meter? I just received mine and I want to make sure I am using it the proper way.

I'm sure somebody will post a link to an instructions pasge, but what you really need to do is get yourself a calibration DVD. That's the best way to properly calibrate you system.
Just using the receiver test tones will work, but I don't think it'll give you a proper calibration next to a disc.

Check out Avia and Video Essentials.
They will have all the instructions you need on the disc.

Adding to Mike's reply...

The Video Essentials disc provides you with the settings for the Radio Shack meter and instructs you as to how you should go about calibrating the speakers.

I have video essentials, guess I never needed the section before so I just fast forwarded over it. Thanks for the link to the page on how to setup the spl meter. Very much appreciated!

Thanks again
