My two favorite films (i just can't choose, consarn it!) are traffic and magnolia.
Thankfully, I don't really hate any movie I've ever seen, although I really don't care for The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
No comments on the director and classic film questions because I don't have much of an opinion on directors for the most part, and I haven't seen that many classic films.
I think Kevin Costner can act just fine. Perhaps he likes to star in a lot of critically and audience panned movies, you never know. I thought he was great in Thirteen Days, I hope he keeps on making good film decisions.
I think Tom Cruise is one of the best actors in Hollywood.
I think Julia Roberts can act just fine.
I don't think I've seen Edward Norton in any movie other than Fight Club, and even then, I've only seen about the first 30 minutes of it.
I think Gladiator is an okay movie, boring at times.
