From Dark Horizons.

Quote:
Police Academy...Yet Again: Moviehole talked with Steve Guttenberg who indicated we may see the return of one of his most famous characters: "There have been rumours of a Mahoney spin-off film for quite a while. I sure hope they do it. If the script’s right – I’m definitely in". As for a new PA comedy? "Definitely. It’s coming. I mean we have to. When it all comes down to it people will look down at the idea, but they’re in the same business of making money too. And that’s what doing another one would all be about".

I really like this guy.

I was hoping from the title of the thread that Guttenberg would apologize for all the dreck he has ever made, but alas, he is just making more! Posted Image

I'm suprised he isn't writing the script himself. He must have plenty of free time Posted Image

An alien doppelganger's taken the place of Steve Guttenburg. That's the only explanation. Posted Image

ok, this is a joke, right? I mean, I can buy into the idea of there being a new PA movie. Hell, I'd be first in line to see it :b But a Mahoney spinoff?? Didn't that particular window close around 1988 or so?

Without the late, great David Graf as Tackleberry -- not interested, alas.

Who controls the British Crown?
Who keeps the metric system down?
We do. We do.
Who keeps Atlantis off the maps?
Who keeps martians under wraps?
We do. We do.
Who holds back the electric car?
Who made Steve Guttenberg a STAR?
We do. We do.
Who robs cavefish of their sight?
Who riggs every Oscar night?
We do.
WE DO!

Exactly! He was the only fun thing about all of these movies. He's like Burt of Tremors. Gun obsessed survivalists are cool. End of story. Posted Image

I'd love to see another PA movie. The only good ones were the ones that had Mahoney.

And knock it all you want, but it would make a killing in Europe.

Awhile ago I rented a Porno and whoever had it before me recorded a Steve Guttenburg movie over it(Casper I believe) and I nearly pissed my pants I was laughing so hard when it came on.
I have seen Larry David in action, and that man is an animal, and he has to be stopped.

Points to Jeremiah for being honest. Did you ask for your money back? Or did the surprise feature prove to be...um, satisfying? Posted Image
