I seem to remember some announcement early in 2002 about Fox releasing the Mel Brooks comedy, Robin Hood Men in Tights this year. We've heard most of the announcments through October already and still nothing. Does anyone know if this is still on slate for this year, or has it been postponed?

'Man, I hope someone's getting a video of this thing.' I also remember rumors of more mel brooks coming from 20th century fox. Oh well. "Fox 'em."

I'm still waiting for it too. Plus, what's going on with:
[*]Blazing Saddles (SE)[*]Spaceballs (SE)[*]Poltergeist II: The Other Side[*]Office Space (SE) *delayed, but any forseeable date yet?[*]Black Christmas (SE)*rumored for sometime between Oct.-Dec. 2002*[*]They Live (SE)[*]Escape From New York (SE) *I've heard Jan. 2003*

I thought we would have heard more on these by now.

Lacey Chabert is so fetch!

"Did you just call me Abe Lincoln?" "No, I said, 'Hey, Blinkin!'" Much better movie than Dracula: Dead and Loving It

Robin blinks rapidly.... "Don't follow." "On the count of push...push!" "Because, unlike some other Robin Hoods, I can speak with an English accent."

Anything new guys? Now that that other Robin Hood has a new 2 Disc edition coming out when is the REAL Robin Hood coming out Posted Image All I want is DD 5.1, anamorphic widescreen, and the trailer. A Brooks commentary would be perfect but I'd settle for a barebones.

The Pal region 4 edition of "Robin Hood Men in Tights" features a really nice Anamorphic Widescreen transfer, a 2.0 Dolby Digital Stereo soundtrack and contains the original theatrical trailer and an enjoyable behind the scenes making of featurette.

Which is ironic since MY Robin Hood's accent is at least related to the Queen's English being from Australia instead of Indiana Posted Image
