Counter strike players (1 Viewer)

What servers do you folks play on? I am fed up with the one I always play on because the admins have ego's the size of trucks and I was banned for calling them on it...bitches. Anyways, now I'm looking for a new good, fast, stable server.

Wow, im impressed, forget the admins, they have always had big egos. That will never change.
Its the damn cheaters. And Punk Buster doesnt do jack, as soon as a new PB is released, a new wall hack is churned out.
Screw CS, ive actually taken to playing UT (as much as i hate it) simple becuase CS has gotten so llama laden in the last 4 months.

I never got into Counterstrike; it could be that I played Team Fortress beforehand and liked it so much that going to CS was a disappointment. TFC is still great though. I'm only assuming that TF2 will never come out, going the way of other "could've beens".

How can you play CS or TF when Tribes 2 is so damn cool?!?

About the only server I play on is Stagg Knights server and it is located in Chicago. Their is some good competition on the server and there is usually an admin playing as well. Here is the IP address, 208.133.72.21:27015

BTW, I usually play between 3:30 PM and 9:00 PM on weekdays and early in the morning on weekends. I use the name Chest_Rockwell. Hope to see you there.

Afraid I had to leave CS about a year ago because of the 12 yr old admins and/or rampant cheaters. Shame too, what an amazingly fun game.

I suggest trying a new fix as presented by other posters here. Of the current crop, it seems that Return to Wolfenstein and Battlefield 1942 are the closest to CS. Personally, I'm going to get RTCW on the Xbox next month, voice chat and closed system is just too sweet.

Bryce..VAL takes care of hackers, they do a pretty good job. I CS all the time when I am home. I am on this 2 yr old Pavillion and I get like 22fps and I hack Juno and ge tlike 200 ping, it pisses me off because my friends have parents that have T1 for their jobs and their kids don't know their potential nor even look into it, theyb just say "I'm not interested."
I would never leave my house if I had an Alien and broadband..Plus I won't be able to run Condition Zero :frowning:.

CS is a great game if all the cheaters were clipped. I started playing it since Beta 4.0, with the sniper pinky shot and ur dead thingy! Anyway, I have abandoned it almost entirely and now play AA or BF 1942. Maybe when Condition Zero comes out.....

On another note, anyone want to play some BF1942...maybe an HTF groupie?

I tried wolfenstein...didn't like its multiplayer at all...too quake like. I still occassionally play CS, although I haven't in a few months. Not only does the cheating piss me off but the cheap kills. People who take advantage of glitches in maps to kill you. I got no problems dieing over and over to a good player, I hate cheap kills though.
