Highly recommended is this opening logo by Studio Canal in all its Dts glory at the beginning of Captain Corelli's Mandolin. The fifteen seconds combines stunning visuals as well as sound actively eminating from all the speakers to provide an almost haunting intro to the movie that follows.

I love to play this to show off my system. Heck, I play this over and over again to show off my system even when I am alone. Definitely worth checking out.

I purchased this DVD for 6.00 CAD at Blockbuster and felt I had more than my money's worth the second the Studio Canal logo played.

Luc, I screened Bridget Jones' Diary (which is also a Studio Canal film) tonight on my new 57" Sony and that logo definitely made me sit up & take notice. Very cool stuff indeed. Posted Image
Three truths about movies, as noted by Roger Ebert:

* It's not what a movie is about, it's how it is about it.
* No good movie is too long, and no bad movie is short enough.
* No good movie is depressing, all bad movies are depressing.
