Pretty good list, IMO--though they left out The Robot Monster and Zontar: Thing From Venus and The Green Slime. I wouldn't have included Chainsaw of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, however.

Sorry, but classics such as THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, and HALLOWEEN 3: SEASON OF THE WITCH have no place on that list! All three of these films are huge, and I mean really HUGE favorites of mine, and as I said, I think all three of these films are classics!

Titanic had some flaws, but it still is a great movie.

Manos, The Hands of Fate deserves top honors. Plan 9 From Outer Space is watchable compared to Manos.

At least Ed Wood could make a movie FUN to watch!

Jeez guys calm down, one of my absolute favorites is up there too, how do you think I feel? But the people have voted, what can you do?;)
There's at least 10 movies that should not be on that list, but regarding the Friday the 13ths, Blair Witches and Heavens Gate hmmm I'm not so sure, just kidding, be gentle.:D
Texas Chainsaw Massacre IS a horror classic, should not be on that list, and the poor much maligned Star Trek The Slow Motion Picture is far better than most of the subsequent Treks, MO.

I like the list, except I have to disagree with the listing of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (which has provided a running gag between my friend and I for the past five years). :)

Exactly. :D Just take off the first Friday the 13th film and Blair Witch 2 as they don't belong on the list. :D

Matthew, I almost posted the exact same thing about Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Anyone who puts it in a 'worst movies ever...' list more than likely has not actually bothered to see the movie.

What a joke. I'll give them Jaws 4 but...Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, Texas Chainsaw, Natural Born Killers, and The Gods Must Be Crazy? Give me a big fat hairy break.

Adam we are talking about a film where tomatos are attacking people, yeah? Ok just got a little bit confused there, at least it has some good company, Titanic no less!!:D
I mean if I had made a film about bananas attacking scantily clad women on a beach, called it "Attack of the Killer Bananas", and starring John Travolta as Big Banana, their leader, would I really be shocked to see it on that list.;)
THIS POST VOTED WORST EVER.

How so? The oldest film on the list is only 49 years old.
Well, my only objection would be to Natural Born Killers, though I recognize the fact that many people just don't understand it.
The omission of Hannibal is somewhat confusing.

Steve, most people are under the very mistaken impression that Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is meant to be taken seriously. It's very obviously a comedic parody of the overwrought disaster movies of the '70s. If people attack the movie as a dated or in some way failed comedy, then I can understand and respect that opinion. However, the vast majority of the people who bash Attack of the Killer Tomatoes are either blindly making assumptions based on its title alone or parroting the words of other people because of its reputation as one of the worst movies ever made.

My impressions:
This is just a flame fest waiting to happen.
I think that the people who voted for Heavens Gate never saw the movie, they just heard it was bad so voted for it. I like the long version, especially on a big screen, but confess to watching it in two parts.
Personally I liked both Blair Witch movies (and especially the cable specials), but am embarrassed to say, I also liked The Bad News Bears Go to Japan (I'm a sucker for Tony Curtis).
I'd like to say that movies not on the list I would have voted for would be: Pi, Spaceballs, and Cool World, but since I know that people on this board absolutely adore those movies, I'll keep my mouth shut.
Too late. :)

Flame fest?

Don't see any evidence of that so far. Some people's feathers will be ruffled by some of the selections, but it's just a list.
