This wasn't moved over from Movies so I wanted to make sure TV people would see it too...

The Cartoon Network is having a marathon showing of THE IRON GIANT tonight! Starting at 6:00pm (that's Central time) it's all Iron Giant, all the time, for 24 hours!

I love this movie, saw it several times in the theater, and own the DVD, so I don't *need* to tune into the marathon, but I just think this is wonderful. The movie has never gotten the proper attention it deserves, and this marathon is a step in the right direction.

It'd be a nice gesture to write to the Cartoon Network and thank them, perhaps even write to some of the sponsors (I don't know who that will be yet).

Pan and scan I'd assume- but either way it's a great thing!

Cartoon Network is doing this film a great service. Perhaps they could have alternated Pan and Scan with Widescreen, satisfying everyone.

This is a GREAT thing.

I am so happy to hear this.

The Iron Giant is so underrated, this was one of the most most magical American Animated films ever!!!
It blows away about 90% of Disney films

After this I'm ready for the new SE DVD. How much longer must I wait?!
