A 8-Piece kit (W1, W3, I3, I5, I7, I9, Sand Trap & Putter) would be 160$ cheaper (And lighter to carry) than a 12-Piece (W1, W3, W5, I3, I4, I5, I6, I7, I8, I9, Sand Trap & Putter) I'd like to know if the missing clubs are really necessary.
I'm far from being a good golfer, I scored 85 last time I played (That's on a 9-Hole! - The All-Par-3's kind) For now, I rent clubs each time, and the rental kits are the 8-Piece ones, so it's not like I tried the even-numbered-irons. I just enjoy the games and need something else to do when the weather outside is nice than watching DVDs inside!
