I remember seeing the ad for this mini TV series movie in the "Spy Kids" DVD.
And that it would be broadcasted it at the ends of January, this is one of my favorite books and the series looked excellent.
But i never heard from it, again.
And ABC is one of my favorite networks and i don´t remember seeing any kind of commercial about it!.
Do you have any idea of what happened to this series?.

It's been delayed for some reason or another... I believe it's coming this November sweeps.

I look forward to it being scheduled. It's too bad this was delayed. Can't imagine why.

Same reason why Jack & The Beanstalk was delayed. They want it for sweeps

2 years later, this movie is finally being aired on Monday, 5/10/2004. I'll check it out, but I'll keep my expectations low since they've been sitting on it so long and haven't been promoting it.

It was also originally shot as a 2-part miniseries running 4-hours (with commercials). They've now cut out 45 minutes and will be airing it on 1 night as a 3-hour movie.

It airs tonight.

No, it will not be in HD. ABC's theatrical movies usually are, but made-for-TV movies usually are not.

They had some production problems ... but they got them ironed out.
