Is the Overscan screen on Video Essentials misaligned? (1 Viewer)

I'm trying to get a centered image on my TV that will be about 5% overscanned. However, there have been a few things about VE's overscan screen that indicate the screen wasn't centered correctly. The main indication is that when I run it on the PC using WinDVD or PowerDVD, the screen seems 2-3% pushed up and to the right. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, it is not centered. Too high and to the right ...

Use the pattern in title 20 or the ones in AVIA instead.

Is there any easy way to jump to Title 20? I can only find my way to Title 17, then have to skip chapters about 40 times until I actually arrive at Title 20.

By the way, I don't see an overscan test in this Title... only a couple of Snell & Wilcox test patterns and one extra chart (I think it a proportion ratio chart? Don't know what it's called...) It's also in 16:9, but my TV is 4:3 so it's harder to judge the corners.

Set your DVD player to 16:9 and make the S/W fit the screen. Use it as your guide to centering.

Usually a direct title search for title 20 is sufficient to find it.
