The official Region 4 ELEPHANT MAN DVD (16x9 2.35:1 widescreen, 5.1) came out here in Australia a week or two ago. I'd guess that other regions would follow fairly soon - we sometimes get Paramount/Columbia discs down here before they have a street date in the States or the UK.

Yes, I too will definitely pickup a copy of The Elephant Man when it's released. Both John Hurt's and Anthony Hopkins' performances in this film were superb...for anyone who hasn't seen this excellent movie yet, you're in for a treat. Paramount, as Mat requested, can you supply any details at all on this film's DVD release...anything to whet our appetites?
