unhook a bra with one hand.

I turned 21 less than a month ago and I just (literally — Friday night) learned how to unhook a bra, period. Guess I'm behind the curve on this one. Posted Image Posted Image

Well, we are talking about 21 year olds today, so here goes.

You should be able to watch a black and white movie and enjoy it as a classic film and not 'an old movie'.

By 21, you should have figured out that being yourself is the coolest thing to be. I know I've enjoyed it (And I figured it out early).

Should know the difference between a classic(1965 Mustang) and a clunker(1988 Grand Am).

Clothes don't make the man, DVD collections do.

There's a time and a place for fart jokes.

The theory that spaghetti may very well be the perfect food.

(If married) How to look at a hot member of the opposite sex without moving your head.

How to avoid cops when your tag's expired.

How to cheat successfully at Monopoly.

Lastly, you should appreciate what your parents went through the last 21 years. It isn't as easy as it looked was it?

Joseph Young, by the way, cells/pagers are the worst thing that can happen to a man, especially if they are issued from work!

As a man of 52, with only a couple of years of college, no cellphone, no pager, and no computer skills to speak of, I'm glad I can recognize sarcasm or irony when I see it.

The final paragraph of Joseph's post was the one I found most important. Without character, integrity, whatever one cares to call it, one is not a man regardless of how many cellphones, pagers, or advanced degrees one has.

By the age of 21, a man should know how to be honest with others and most of all with himself.

I agree Steve...by 21 a man should be able to tell when someone is talking with their tongue in their cheek. Posted Image (Good post Joseph! Posted Image )

Peter and Paul are not the same person, but they "work for the same guy." Posted Image My understanding of the phrase is to move money from one part of a budget to another. Example: Living off of Top Roman noodles for a month so you can pay rent.

Pardon the somewhat off topic excursion, but my favorite quote in regards to what an individual should be able to do is :

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an
invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building,
write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone,
comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate,
act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem,
pitch manure, use a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight
efficiently and die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.

I'm still working on this list. Posted Image

- Walter.

Fidelity to the source should always be the goal for Blu-ray releases.

Anyway, when I went to college I saw many guys who didn't have the slightest idea of how to use a washing machine. It was real funny watching them try to figure out what to do.

But they're so complex - lots of dials and buttons! At least amps have lights and shiny bits! Posted Image

Should I mention that I don't drink? Posted Image

Regarding the unhooking of bras - I'd rather not say how long that took! :b
