The sequel is coming straight to video on June 26th in the US due to Lions Gate. I think Lions Gate will also release the film straight to video in Canada (maybe, maybe not, I'm not sure).
Cube was great, hopefully Cube 2 will be on par with the original.

I wonder if they'll bring back Maurice Dean Wint, the actor who played the cop Quentin. He was a terrific actor!
"Him....and the retard."
I enjoyed the first one alot. And I was surprised to find that I liked it on repeat viewings. I didn't think it would stand up after the first go round but it sure did.

What they need to do is bring David Hewlett (who played Worth) back as he was the only person "alive" still left in the cube (as far as we know). He also had one of the best lines in the film:
Quentin: For Christ's sake, Worth, what do you live for? Don't you have a wife, or a girlfriend, or something?
Worth: Nope. I've gotta pretty fine collection of pornography.

Hey Scott. What horrors movies do you NOT look forward to??;)
It seems that everywhere I turn on this forum, you have posts concerning horror movies.
Just the other day, for example, I saw a post by you concerning the Resident Evil upcoming movie. There were a whole bunch of Zombie pictures.
Just kidding.
By the way, your Eagles played a very good game on Sunday. But what happened to the Eagle helmet in your signature?:frowning:
Also thanks for your input on my thread concerning Bram Stoker's Dracula. I finally saw it a couple of days ago. It was very good.
Thanks again
Carlos

It's quite simple, Carlos. Despite my being a "feelm critic", I have a deep devotion to horror flicks. If it weren't for the simplistic appeal of horror movies, I'd probably be an accountant or something. Gory, scary movies were what originally turned me on to the beauty of cinema. It was only after I rented every horror flick under the sun that I began to appreciate things like Woody Allen comedies, James Bond adventures, raunchy tittie flicks and the deep intellectual metaphors inherent in the work of filmmakers like Joe Dante and John Landis. :)
Regarding my beloved Eagles...I don't want to talk about it.
Long live the gory horror movie!

Those interested in Cube 2 may want to check out the official website.

Note to any wandering administrators: Could you change this thread's heading to include the movie's title? I wasn't thinking ahead. Thanks.
