I finally got around to putting one of my Christmas presents into the DVD player last night, the French Connection. I could not believe how good this 30-year old movie looked. Fox really out did themselves on this movie. I suspect that part of the reason the video is so good is because of the second DVD has all of the extra material. That allows the other DVD to be used for the movie which is less than two hours long. Whatever the reason, the movie is visually stunning for a film of that age. Anyone else agree or disagree?
